Vanilla Cake - 1,2,3,4

This is a great base cake easy to make and you can remember all the ingredient. It is heavy and dense so you can make various flavors or additions to it.

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 cups flour
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 4 tsp baking powder
• 2 tsp vanilla

Putting it all together

Beat butter sugar and eggs till smooth, mix flour and baking powder together and alternate flour mix and milk, add vanilla, mix till smooth. Pour into two 9in cake pans or one rectangle cake pan.

Bake in 350F oven for 30 min or until when toothpick is inserted and it come out clean or when touched in center it bounces back.

Alternative add-ins

Chocolate either powder cocoa or melted chocolate

Fruit such as berries on the cake or in the batter, with this option you can make a  swirl by picking your favorite fruit compote and once batter it in the pan pour fruit mix and then use a knife to make the swirl, or you can add whole berries.
